Beginning in December of 2025 and continuing into 2026, there has been a surge of immigration enforcement activity in Minnesota which has directly and adversely affected many of our members.
On January 14th, 2026, the Minnesota Newspaper and Communications Guild TNG-CWA 37002 sent a letter to the employers of our members requesting transparency around employer policies/statements about immigration enforcement, to notify us about ICE activity inside workplaces and member detainments, and to continue to support workers if detained.
